Select Your Hero
Hello,
Added:
- Selectable hero/deck at the start of each run (no longer random).
- Card balance update
- New cards
- Relic balance update
- Volume slider
- Minor visual queues/updates
Artet has been played almost 100 times this week! That probably isn't really a lot on itch.io, but it warms my heart nonetheless lol.
This update contains some stuff I've had in the works during development that I just hadn't quite finished before uploading the game.
Selectable Heroes
The major update is that you can now select your hero/deck when you start the game. Starting decks will likely get some tweaks to make them a bit more varied with card races in the near future.
Card Balance/New Cards
I also went through a lot of cards and updated some of the numbers and arrows to rebalance them. 4 new Elemental-race cards have been added and the starter deck cards have been removed from the card reward screen.
Relic Balance
I'm trying a more standardized approach to balancing the Relics a bit to make them stronger and more specialized, I'm not sure I hit the mark on where they currently stand. The next big update will be adding a few more so that they feel more varied and likely will come with more balance tweaks of the ones already in the game.
Other Stuff
- There is now a volume slider so you can turn down the game and play to your own tunes :)
- When placing a card next to an attackable enemy, the enemy card will now have a black border as well as a jiggle to signal the player to click it. The jiggle caused a bug, removed :(
- On the map screen, every few seconds the level button will jiggle.
Thank you for stopping by and playing!
